we are wasting time by trying to get new participants onto pulse. \n\ni was not a crypto native before memecoins. i was onboarded by those “day 1 of posting my memecoin until $10m” on ig reels in early 2024. others were onboarded by the celeb meta that summer. others by fortnite streamers, many when traders flooded tiktok during late 2024 during $chillguy times, and many during $pnut and elon. do you see how none of these events revolve around a significant company/ app? most got their first bite from a big coin that broke out of the crypto bubble and then thought huh what do i do with my money now? -> bought other coins -> downloaded tg etc -> started trenching.\n\nat no point was a specific app at the face of any onboarding events + besides with fortnite streamers, ppl didn’t immediately jump on new pairs. so why spend so much time and money promoting the pumpfun app n kolscan etc? why is that gonna be the method that brings retail if not even us, on ct, wanna use those tools? \n\ni didnt buy the boots off a nike advert i bought them because i saw neymar wearing them - this concept will make sense to you no matter what sport you watch. its the most basic form of sales.\n\nso now when it comes to your precious bags, why are you dedicating your time and money to onboard people onto the platform to buy the bags rather than the bags themselves. how will that sustainably onboard retail onto your platform?\n\n i suggest you show them some good players and see what happens.\n\nas platforms, you should be bagworking just as hard beyond the crypto bubble as we are within it. volume will trickle down into the trenches as more n more people enter the space.\n\nan example i can think of (may his soul rest in hell ofc) is pasternak onboarding big companies to launch on believe whilst we were shilling existing launches to each other. we would've never had a significant launchcoin season if pasternak hadnt been grinding - ofc it failed in the end bc he decided youtube vlogs were more important than communication but im sure you get my point.\n\ninstead of wasting money on KOLs and app onboarding funnels, you should be out there moving like prime pasternak. \n\nthe players are your memes. go out there and sell the memes (which are all traded on YOUR liquidity pools anyways so who cares what terminal they buy them on) and i promise the volume will trickle down. nobody cares about cented respectfully, but if normies literally see $testicle/$neet campaigns AND THEN they see dip/logjam up 8 figs - only then will the pnls make them want to trade. simply criming coins isnt enough - hence why bonk failed. because otherwise, its a feeling of 'oh i legit saw that coin so early, wow i couldve made money too'. \n\nas a normie, you cannot get that feeling from the trenches. so why would they go there?\n\nfurthermore, if the pumpfun app wasn’t made for low cap trenches and instead specialised for much lower volume trades (which is what actually begins the pipeline that brings ppl onto pulse), you’d get whatever extra fees you’re after as opposed to trying to compete w axiom whilst ceilings trend to 0. good examples r fomo/vector/moonshot - or even as simple as phantom/solflare/jupiter. that’s the level of simplicity you need if u wanna be the app normies choose. you will never win the battle of being the leading trading terminal, but you’ll always be the main launchpad. accept it and move forward.\n\nright now, you’re trying to bring new participants straight onto the last level of this game. let them buy a meme and hold first and let themselves get onboarded to higher vol trading habits by random telegram gcs or KOLs or whatever. that’s how we’ll improve vol in the trenches. it has to be semi organic or it’ll never work sustainably.\n\nalso, the fact we only get updates when bonk/another launchpad wakes up and slightly threatens your market share is bs. you gotta move with more intention or we’ll continue in this direction.\n\nyou have pretty much a bottomless warchest n all you’ve come up with so far is slop bots dick sucking on my tl + an app that nobody likes. (respectfully). figure out how to orchestrate a huge onboarding event that isn’t strictly tied to your name. stop trying to sell the boots, focus on ensuring you’ve got the best players wearing them.\n\nthere’s infinite possibilities with the money you’ve collected. you could legit fly blimps shilling $neet over the hqs of companies that are laying off thousands. there’s so many ways YOU should be pushing these memes - whether thats by making ur own murad industry plant or whatever. instead we're stuck with a couple paid kols and an app none of us use. theres little point in pretending to be on our side if ur focus is just having market share rn rather than onboarding retail.\n\nnike don’t sell boots they sell the players. your memes are your players alon go make ppl fall in love with ur memes, not the pumpfun app UI and not the kolscan pnls - thats not gonna bring ppl to your brand. \n\nwritten in my own voice, im not one of u inauthentic slop bots i do not care about ur capital letters or claude written templates. first article, any advice is appreciated. take care.\n\ntldr: stop tryna sell normies your platform and focus on selling normies some memes. nike dont advertise their boots, they advertise their players."}}
