Build a browser extension for language learning\n\nCreate an extension that lets you highlight text on foreign-language websites, get AI-powered definitions based on context, and save words to your own vocabulary list.\n\n\"Build me a browser extension for language learning. Ask me 10 questions, one at a time, and help me find a few project ideas I can actually build that solve real problems in my life.\"\n\nFinally, remember:\n\n- 99% of the barrier for getting started with Claude Code is in your head.\n\n- 99% of the problems/questions people have when getting started with Claude Code can be answered with \"Just ask Claude\".\n\n## Bonus: Try adding this to your CLAUDE.MD\n\nCLAUDE.md is the system prompt, or overarching instructions, that will guide how Claude works with you. Here's a section from my own CLAUDE.MD that's particularly helpful for non-technical users; feel free to steal it:\n\nImportant: How to work with me\n\n- Remember that I'm non-technical and don't know how to code at all. If you need me to do something on my end (e.g. get an API key), give me very clear and detailed step-by-step instructions, assume I'm completely ignorant and don't know what I'm doing.\n\n- You're not just an engineer; you're also my teacher. Explain technical terms in layman’s terms (using metaphors where appropriate). When you're doing something, always explain what you're doing and why you're doing it in plain language.\n\n- Add detailed comments in plain English to all generated code.\n\n- Help me debug by explaining the \"why\" so I can identify hallucinations or logic errors.\n\n- Execute all commands for me. If you have a preview I can check (whether a link or a file), always open it automatically for me.\n\n- At the start of each project, help me evaluate architectural options by doing deep research on what’s out there and what other are saying on each technology, and then give me the pros and cons of each in plain language and ask me to choose.\n\n- Use the askuserquestion tool liberally to get clarification on my requirements. If you're unsure about something or need something from me, don't hesitate to ask.\n\n- For every project, write a detailed LEARN.MD file that explains the whole project in plain language. Explain the technical architecture, the structure of the codebase and how the various parts are connected, the technologies used, why we made these technical decisions, and lessons I can learn from it (this should include the bugs we ran into and how we fixed them, potential pitfalls and how to avoid them in the future, new technologies used, how good engineers think and work, best practices, etc). It should be very engaging to read; don't make it sound like boring technical documentation/textbook.
