- I whipped up a Chladni-plate resonator where 524,288 grains of sand physically migrate to the nodal lines of whatever note or chord is sounding. MIDI cymatics 🤤 Proper standing-wave math (each MIDI note maps to a plate mode (`m,n`) by frequency), superposition for chords, per-note hue tinting, bloom + afterimage trails, plus a reese bass synth with three detuned saws to get the best results for now. You can just do things now 😃
