so one curious thing about social reading is that the feedback is noisy and often received arbitrarily far into the future so how do people get *really* good at it?

so how do you get really good at social skills? - exposure & imitation + lots of hypothesis testing - care a lot, care too much. know that if you love your friends enough you will figure out how to love them well
