Ladybird is one of the UK's biggest children's books publishers and its books are read by kids as young as two. The image features a Muslim woman in hijab carrying a baby alongside another woman. A caption reads: "Everyone should be free to be themselves, no matter who they are or who they love." Homosexual acts are strictly forbidden in Islam.
